Celebrate National Water Week 2017!
Every year the Australian Water Association holds a national water week with events all over the country at schools and community groups.
The theme this year is “Water The Heart Of Our Culture”. This theme is all about making people aware of the importance of water in every aspect of our lives.
Did you know?
Australia is the second driest continent in the world, only after Antarctica. With an average rainfall of below 600mm over 80% of the country, and below 300mm over 50% (ABS), we need to collect all we can of this precious resource.
Through collecting rainfall that would otherwise be going down the drain, a tank can help save some of the 12% of Australia’s drinking-quality water that is used in homes and gardens.
